Sleep? What's That? Just a Rumor I've Heard...
"Do you ever sleep?" It’s a question I hear all the time. And honestly, I’m flattered that people think I’ve somehow cracked the code to 25-hour days. I mean, when you’re everywhere—juggling work, networking like a champ, snapping selfies like an Olympic sport, and flooding LinkedIn with posts—people start to wonder if you’ve discovered some secret to living without sleep.
Here’s the reality: Sleep? What’s that? Just a rumor I’ve heard...
Let me explain. I’m the community liaison for BrightStar Care of Stroudsburg & Allentown, and my job isn’t just a job; it’s a mission. I help families and their loved ones find the home care support they need and deserve. This isn’t just about ticking off tasks on a to-do list; it’s about making a real difference in people’s lives. It’s about going above and beyond to ensure that every family I work with feels supported, heard, and cared for. And let me tell you, that kind of dedication doesn’t leave much time for a head on a pillow.
But it doesn’t stop there. When I’m not working, I’m out dominating networking events across the Greater Lehigh Valley (PA) area. Whether it’s making new connections or catching up with friends I’ve nurtured great relationships with over the years, I’m always on the move. And yes, snapping selfies with people like it’s a sport is part of the game. After all, what’s the point of working hard if you can’t have a little fun along the way?
Then there’s LinkedIn. I’m not just a passive observer—I’m an active participant. I post frequently, sharing interesting and fun content, and I write twice a week for my LinkedIn newsletter, Focal Point. It’s a forum where ideas and information converge, and I’m passionate about contributing to it. This is where I get to share insights, spark conversations, and connect with like-minded professionals who are just as driven as I am.
So, do I sleep? Well, let’s just say that sleep is way down on my list of priorities. I’m fueled by ambition, a relentless work ethic, and a steady diet of caffeine. Victory doesn’t come with a head on a pillow—it comes with hard work, perseverance, and an internal drive to succeed that keeps me going long after most people have called it a night.

But let’s be real—there’s a method to the madness. Sure, I’m all about the hustle, but I know how to pace myself. I may not sleep much, but I’ve mastered the art of the power nap—emphasis on the power. It’s all about strategic shut-eye, just enough to recharge and get back to the grind with renewed energy and focus.
So, the next time someone asks me if I ever sleep, I’ll just smile and say, "Sleep? What’s that? Just a rumor I’ve heard..." Because at the end of the day, it’s not about how many hours you clock in bed—it’s about how many hours you spend pursuing your goals, chasing your dreams, and making a difference in the world.
In the world of business and life, I’m like a shark—always moving forward, never stopping, always hungry for the next challenge. And while I may not get as much sleep as the average person, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Success doesn’t come easy, and I’m more than willing to trade a few hours of sleep for the satisfaction of knowing that I’m making progress every single day.
So here’s to the relentless pursuit of excellence, the endless drive to succeed, and the caffeine that keeps me going. Sleep might be a rumor, but victory is a reality. And in my world, that’s what truly matters.
Before you start worrying about my caffeine intake or plotting ways to sneak a pillow into my office, rest assured—I’m doing just fine! I’ve learned to thrive in the fast lane, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. So if you see me out and about, whether at a networking event, grabbing coffee, or posting yet another selfie on LinkedIn, just know that I’m not just awake—I’m fully charged and ready to conquer whatever comes my way. Cheers to the grind, the hustle, and the relentless pursuit of greatness!
