Sleeping well at night knowing you did these things

Sleeping well at night knowing you did these things

Top SDRs/BDRs focus on mindset, knowing their Why very clearly and focus on what they can control vs focus on the drama and how others are complaining about how bad the economy is doing

Outcomes:

  1. Learning the skill gaps in order to get promoted to Account Executive
  2. Being able to shadow and provide value to my AE/ (take notes) close small deals
  3. Focus on Keeping my mentality solid by not watching the news or doom scrolling social media

Process:

  1. Showing up every day and making sure I have the right habits and rituals to support me in getting a promotion
  2. Executing next steps: follow-ups and networking with the right folks to make sure I'm surrounding myself with winners
  3. Planning my day by intentionally reflecting on which activities yielded better results

  • It's easy to stress about things that are out of control, but these distractions ultimately will not help us get to the next level. Set boundaries. Say no to things that aren't important. Stay true to yourself. Do not compromise and be out of integrity just to make a quick buck.

Add value to your organization.

  • When we feel negative energy from others. Make sure we are surrounding ourself with people who are solution oriented instead of people who are complaining all of the time.

Focusing on what you know you are good at and working on alleviating the skill gap to your next role will help you get promoted more quickly.

  • It will also reduce anxiety because you know you can go to sleep knowing that you did everything in your power to get to the next level. At the end of to the day, its about getting 1% better.

Let go of things like thinking about how the economy sucks or lay offs.
