Small Business Revolution: Mastering Automation and AI

Introduction

In the ever-changing world of business, where things are always on the move, I've spent more than three decades as an entrepreneur. During this time, I've witnessed incredible changes that have reshaped how businesses operate. I've dabbled in five different industries, each offering valuable lessons in serving clients, making work easier for employees, and growing a business.

My last venture was in the fitness industry, which was exciting, but after 10 years I was burnt out and felt the urge to explore something new. That's when a fantastic opportunity came knocking. In 2017, I took on the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing at a startup development and consulting firm that focused on RPA (Robotic Process Automation). This exciting move led me and my family from New Mexico to Texas.

As I got deeper into the world of RPA, I noticed a big gap. Big companies were using RPA to their advantage, but smaller businesses couldn't afford it and didn’t even know it existed. I decided it was time to find a way to help small and medium-sized businesses benefit from this amazing technology.

My days were filled with meetings and conversations with experts, trying to understand RPA software inside and out. Then, after about a year, a developer told me about a software that had the potential to make RPA accessible to smaller businesses. I was determined to give it a shot.

I reached out to a friend who had a business challenge: lots of time-consuming data entry and extraction work. I proposed that he'd invest in the software, and I'd handle the rest for free. The results were incredible - we saved him a whopping 30 hours of work each week.

I knew I had something special on my hands, but when I shared my vision with others in the industry, they didn't quite see it. They thought it wouldn't work or be profitable. No one else seemed interested in this market. So, in 2019, my wife and I made a big decision. We moved back to New Mexico to start a new chapter

I knew firsthand how small businesses operate, their limited access to technology, and their lack of knowledge about these fantastic tools. I realized I needed to start a company that offered RPA as a Service (RPAaaS) to level the playing field for the small business sector.

In the days to come, I'll be your guide, revealing the secrets, sharing valuable resources, breaking down the steps, and introducing you to the essential tools and inspiring stories that will empower small and medium-sized businesses to harness the full potential of RPA software. 

But that's not all. We'll also explore how this journey can seamlessly lead you to embrace other cutting-edge technologies like Intelligent Automation and Generative AI.

My goal is that my automation and AI journey becomes a beacon of knowledge, helping every business, regardless of its size, inch closer to intelligent automation, and the best of AI, in every nook and cranny of its operations. So that as your company grows and thrives, you can focus on what truly matters – serving your clients – while the wheels of your business turn smoothly on autopilot.
