How do you love on your customers?
Showing your customers love is important because it makes customers feel supported and appreciated, which translates into happy customers. I don't need to remind you that happy customers are your best source of repeat business and referrals. They are more likely to recommend your business to their peers and others. I’m going to share a few ways to show your customers love so you can make them feel special and appreciated.
Send them a love note. Sending a heartfelt thank you card can go a long way to build or maintain a relationship. Grab a card that is blank on the inside, and tell your customer why they are awesome. Make your note short and sweet, but memorable.
Host a customer appreciation event. Use your customer appreciation event to thank them for supporting your business. Add some fun elements to surprise and delight your customers, such as raffles or giveaways and freebies. Consider pre-launching a new product at your exclusive event for your best customers to grab before the masses! Teach your customers something new! Help them learn how to make something fun, cook a meal or teach them a new skill related to your industry.
Highlight your customers on social media. Share your customer's finished projects or positive media coverage with your online community. Talk about how your service helped them. You can highlight customer testimonials and other customer content on your social channels also.
Offer a special customer sale. Hold a customer appreciation sale to thank your customers for supporting your business! Decide on a discount well in advance, use email and social media to communicate the sale to your customers, and watch the calls and sales roll in!
Celebrate major milestones with your customers, including birthdays, years with their company, wedding anniversaries, birth of a child or grandchild, anniversary of starting a business of their own, etc.
When you show love to your customers, you will receive love in return. It’s a great way to reinforce your business relationships and build real friendships.
