The SmallBizLady Buzz - Issue 152

How often do we think about our empowerment story?

We all have days in our business that don’t make us feel so smart or accomplished. You may be in a difficult season right now. With new competitors cropping up, key employees resigning, or clients getting laid off one by one, it can be very overwhelming.

But fear not. Every step is part of your journey. Good and bad days come and go. Remember your purpose in your business. Lean on your Why. Psalms 27:14 says, “Be strong and let your heart take courage. Wait on the Lord.”

Don’t rush the process you are in, or you could go down the wrong path. Don’t overthink. Don’t change your goals. But be willing to change your strategic plans. Be patient. Don’t be mean to yourself with negative self-talk. And if you have a momentary lapse, my prayer is that you have a good friend who will remind you of your empowerment story. We all need someone in our lives who will remind us of who we are and what we’ve already accomplished.

Whatever you are waiting for, just know that God has it on the way for you or He’s setting you up for something even better.

Don’t ever give up. Just wait.
