More Small Business Loan Money is Coming Soon, I Hope.

We have all been through a lot in the last month. If you scrambled to apply for the PPP Loan or EIDL loan, and were awarded loan funds, you are very fortunate. The rest of us have no doubt learned to manage our expectations. I stand in solidarity with many small business owners who largely feel betrayed and extremely disappointed by the results of the $349 Billion Dollar Paycheck Protection Program Loan. Lawsuits have been filed against banks that prioritized the bigger loans, when they were supposed to process the loans on a first come, first served basis. Some banks even funded several companies based outside of the United States. Yes, all of that was not right, but don't get discouraged.

Congress is now trying to fix this with an additional authorization of funds. If you have an application pending, hold on just a little longer. If you haven’t applied yet for funding with your bank, DO IT NOW!! If that’s not working, try the Fintech firms: PayPal, IntuitQuickbooks, NAV, Fundera, and look for others to come online with offerings in the next few days…..
