Smart Connections

Tomorrow's mobility is becoming increasingly digital. Companies that shape this future must be digital pioneers. How does ZF fulfill this role? One example is the new ZF Metaverse to transform talent acquisition and employee engagement. It`s equipped with several key features designed to enhance user interaction and engagement.

It's the last stop on the production line before a product departs the ZF world to reach the customer: the end-of-line test bench. ZF's end-of-line test systems test parts worldwide – and document the result digitally, generating up to 30,000 datasets per day. But to put it in the right context in production our AI-expertise is needed.

What can be a positive development often poses challenges elsewhere. In automotive electronics, it becomes more and more complex when too many systems control each other in parallel. So what if all the assistance systems that aim to keep the vehicle stable were integrated into one platform? That`s cubiX® - a home for all chassis control systems. Learn more about all these and other interesting topics in the latest edition of our newsletter "To Mobility and Beyond".

Test systems in the industry generate large amounts of data every day. There's real money here – provided the data is processed and evaluated correctly. ZF Test Systems is therefore introducing Advanced Analytics to its business. Whether it's a new tire compound, batteries or the electromagnetic compatibility of an electric motor – test benches from ZF Test Systems are often involved when an innovation sees the light of day in the industrial world.

Digitalization has become an inevitable trend in the recent industry as well as electrification. It has inaugurated new dimensions of mobility aesthetics thanks to advanced driver assistant systems and smart infotainment systems that have not only enhanced the driving experience but also brought safer mobility. In recent years, the majority of automakers tried to just consider bigger and bigger displays for their interior designs without any user-friendly or even practical UI and UX. Considering both hardware characteristics with efficient and practical software operating systems will elevate the user experience from pure digitalized mobility with the least driver distraction. Digitalization and electrification are not just limited to infotainment systems and displays but bring safer and more precise mobility such as SBW electrical signal transmission. Electronic control management has enabled the offering of a spacious interior design by eliminating conventional hydraulic and mechanical connections for functioning vehicles. Centralizing the vehicle's electronic dynamic management has gifted offering of sophisticated functions simultaneously while enhancing The vehicle's dynamic predictability.
