Smart Freight Contracts Just Make More Sense!
Have to say that in my over 30 years in the logistics, supply chain and transportation business there's been little or no innovation when it comes to freight contracts.
Recently wrote an article “How to Simplify and Accelerate the Creation of Smart Contracts”, and have now come to realize the true power they have to transform the freight contracting and invoicing process, which power it's time to share with you!
Smart Contracts simply make more sense than paper or e-signed documents as they can automate the creation of accurate invoices AND at the same time capture any and all accessorial charges while shipments are in process.
Check out the below graphic to get an overview of how smart contracts can be used to streamline and improve the invoicing process:
In order to more easily understand the difference between the KNNX Freight process and the conventional freight invoicing process, please see the below two graphics depicting first the traditional process and then the new streamlined smart contracts process:
Literally what was previously an 11 step labor and time intensive process has now been transformed into 5 step smart contract automated process by removing the need for six of the previous steps!

Getting from your traditional contract and invoicing process to a new streamlined smart freight contacts process is not a heavy lift and can also position both parties to benefit from quick pay discount options if so desired.
For any of you "From Missouri" types out there who want to first see something in action before seriously considering, check out my article and embedded video here on the Walmart Canada implementation of smart freight contracts.
And when you're ready to see smart contracts in action personally, feel free to reach out and then it won't take long for you to realize that Smart Freight Contracts just make more sense!
