The world is heading towards a warming of 2.7 celcius putting us far from the goals of the Paris Agreement. However, we are in a much better position than we were 10 years ago. In 2013, we were still on course for a 3.7-degree warming. These calculations come from the NewClimate Institute and Climate Analytics, which assess the climate policies of all countries. The interpretation of this is that climate actions are effective.

• More collaboration: MOU-agreement between Singapore and Norway
• Stern focus on renewables: The Foreign Ministers from Singapore and Norway agree.

Singapore Norway Innovation Conference (SNIC) 2023 will feature its first ever Innovation Awards! 

The awards will be given to maritime companies that are producing or utilising remarkable innovations that can help improve maritime operational efficiency, driving the maritime decarbonisation push.
