Social Bridge is in the midst of Bread-giving campaign aim to eliminate Elders’ Loneliness.
No one want to feel lonely, especially during the holiday season. AND many Elders WILL be lonely and isolated this Thanksgiving.
Help us solve this problem.
1 in 3 elders report feeling lonely and forgotten and now as they shelter in place it is even worst.
Help us get to 180 seniors across all 50 states.
For Thanksgiving - we will be BreadGiving (breaking bread) with seniors. Signup today (click here) - we starts on 11/9/2020
Join us and collectively we will reach 180 elders nationwide with the gift of relationships.
It is simple and easy. Donate $48/month (Only 1.60/day) and receive a "Thank You Box" including 2 loafs of challah bread. 1 for you and 1 for your elder neighbor, to break bread together.
- A great way to start the Holidays spirit.
The COVID-19 pandemic has place a spot light on a situation that affected the reality of millions of elders, like our parents and loved-ones, worldwide.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
The simple act of breaking bread together can help an elder like your parents or grandparents stay connected and save them from depression, heart problems, diabetes and other illnesses.
At Social Bridge, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to initiate relationships with the elders in your immediate community/neighborhood.
What better way to do that, than by breaking bread together?
With a simple monthly donation of $48 (only $1.60/day) and small acts of kindness, you can regularly visit with the old neighbor to break bread with them. By doing this you not only save their life, but you also discover new relationships and friends.
I am IN. I am donating and building relationships
See yourself sitting with them and eating this delicious bread over a cup of coffee (or tea) while sharing life stories. Who knows, you might even find the best person to teach your child how to play music.
Your donations help elders like Philip, Alla and DiAnn to receive:
* Their groceries
* A safe visit from a friendly volunteer
* Social interaction
And it also support
*Educational programs aim to build relationships between generations.
as well as
* Another set of eyes to make sure your loved one are ok
* Peace of mind that a caring human being is there for your mom, dad and grandparents
Unless we take action now, this situation will continue to grow and elders’ loneliness will become a pandemic of its own.
Become a leader in your community and do your part to help stop it.
The "BreadGiving" promotion starts on 11/9/2020 and will last until 11/19/2020
>>> Our goal is to reach at least 180 seniors nationwide<<<
We need your help.
We are all going to get old eventually. There is no escape, no matter how many times you will go under the knife.
Many people think: "oh things will change and by the time I will be old......."
The truth is, if we will not fix this issue now, by the time you will get old it will be out of control. Just like the pandemic known as COVID-19.
SO join us, together we can create the change we want to see.
