Social Media & Smart Sage

Social Media & Smart Sage

Social Media is like a "Fairground Mirror". It is all about creating distortions, amplification of a reality; i.e., the content in social media is not always real and authentic!!

While social media has undeniably transformed the way we communicate and interact with each other. Most of the people are predominantly leveraging social media to over exaggerate and amplify their strength and defend their weakness. In other words, they their inner happiness and peace fluctuates with every like/dislike and appreciation/criticism of social media.

These distortion and amplification are done through creation of filter bubbles and echo chambers, as the algorithms are designed to show users content that aligns with their interests and beliefs, limiting exposure to a range of views and opinions, and reinforcing existing biases. Recently we are seeing deep-fake technology to create fear and take unnecessary advantage. In other words, it is making the lines between fantasy and reality have become blurred. This has resulted in unnecessary and disproportionate unconscious bias for low-unconscious users. Hence, we are living in a world of virtual reality and absolute illusion.

Already there are enough scientific evidence that social media use has an impact on self-concept, self-esteem, body image, and body dissatisfaction for low-conscious people.

Also, most of the people in rat-race of the world have gravity towards low-consciousness, robotic and compulsive reaction. While man has won the physical gravitational force and in moon mission, they are in trap of psychological or mental gravity. Hence, they are not able to recognize this trap and following it blindly with greed. This trap is extremely restlessness in nature. Also, this energy of restlessness is gets recorded in our deeper-self and reappears in later point of time as regret and remorse. There enough evidence of this kind of suffering in most of the smart people.

Glorification and disturbance create a falls sense of pride and fear at psychological level leading to poor inner-wellbeing and inner-happiness. In other words, while social media is a business for someone, it is creating inner-illness for most of the people. In other words, our response may be reverberating with Smartness but it will be without Sage-ness.

There is beautiful saying that – All cravings come to wards us with an intention to transform us. Hence instead of carrying a false sense of self-glorification disturbance from social media, it is time for each one of us to raise our consciousness to recognize it as a trigger for our transformation. In other words, if we can become a Smart Sage, we will not stop responding to the social media trigger but we will respond with high-consciousness (i.e., Smartness as well Sageness)

Once we do so, we can move against psychological gravity of craving for self-glorification. Hence, it would be an empowering and awakening use of social media. Not only it will transform you by bringing inner happiness; your response in social media will empower and inspire your followers. In other words, there will be Smartness in your becoming and Sage-ness in your being.

To learn; where do you stand in your conscious scale and how to respond to social media trigger with without psychological gravity of craving for glorification, you may read the book Smart Sage.

It's good to use our own lens to filter the amplification before thinking that everyone in the world is having such an amazing time, except me who is sitting and doing this rotten job and leading equally rotten life , best is to delete the accounts if you have one. I did this in the year 2016 and there has been no looking back, nothing in the world can trade for that mental freedom.
