Software Sales Lesson 1

Software Sales Lesson 1

I've been selling software for over 9 years, and I've learned a lot of lessons. what I learn is that, you need to focus on the customer's needs, not your own. In order to do this, you need to understand what the customer wants and needs, and you need to be able to communicate that to them. You also need to be able to put yourself in the customer's shoes and see things from their perspective.

Another important thing to remember is that you need to be able to solve the customer's problem. If you can't do that, then you're not going to be successful in selling software. The best way to do this is by understanding the customer's business and what they're trying to achieve. You also need to be able to show them how your software can help them achieve their goals.

The last thing I would say is that you need to be persistent. Sometimes it takes a lot of effort to close a deal, and you need to be prepared to work hard for it. You also need to be patient, because some deals can take a long time to close. If you can do all of these things, then you'll be successful in selling software.
