Soulful Sales: How to Embody the Energy, Not Just the Strategy

Soulful Sales: How to Embody the Energy, Not Just the Strategy

Have you ever wondered how some entrepreneurs seem to effortlessly scale their business without feeling "salesy"? It's not about the latest funnel or the perfect script—it’s about energetically aligning with your business and community.

One of the most profound shifts I made in my entrepreneurial journey was moving from a purely strategic approach to one grounded in energy and service. This shift took me from struggling for clients to hitting my first $100k month. So today, I want to share what I’ve learned about soulful sales—how to embody the energy, not just the strategy.

How I Went from 0 to My First $100K Month

It wasn’t a fancy website or a well-crafted sales page that got me to $100k. In fact, it was the opposite.

Here's what I did:

  • Focused on service > sales: Shifting my mindset from selling to serving was critical. People feel the difference when you're truly there to help them.
  • Meditated to ground my energy: Trust me—this works! Starting my day by centering myself helped me bring my best energy into every conversation.
  • Talked to my ideal clients out loud on my morning walks: Yes, I talked to myself, but visualizing my dream clients and speaking to them as if they were there created a deep sense of connection.
  • Sent voice notes over text: This added a personal touch, making clients feel like they were having a conversation with a friend, not just a coach.
  • Got super curious: Instead of pitching, I leaned into curiosity. I asked a lot of questions, listened deeply, and adapted based on what I learned.
  • Did NOT create an offer upfront: It’s counterintuitive, but I didn’t start by crafting the perfect offer. Instead, I focused on deeply understanding what my audience needed.
  • Leaned into vulnerability: Sharing the messy parts of my journey opened up conversations that wouldn’t have happened if I stuck to the highlight reel.
  • Talked about my coaching more than I was comfortable: Self-promotion can feel awkward, but the more I talked about my work, the more interest I generated.
  • Got great sleep: It’s hard to show up fully when you’re exhausted. Prioritizing rest gave me the energy to engage authentically.
  • Asked previous clients for feedback: Honest feedback helped me refine my approach and made clients feel valued.
  • Looked for the "no": Instead of fearing rejection, I actively sought it out. Knowing that “no” is just part of the process helped me detach from the outcome.
  • Asked my community what would support them: Co-creating offers with my audience ensured that I was always providing value.
  • Kept it simple: Simplicity sells. When we overcomplicate things, we create confusion. Clear, straightforward messaging always wins.

If this was helpful leave me a message and if you want the Google Doc that I created outlining the 3 steps I take to create soul led sales then send me a message!
