Sow, Grow, and Go: Nurturing Your Leadership Seed

This is the first edition of The Leadership Seed newsletter. This is a project of passion and joy for me. I love people, I love leading, I love learning, and I love coaching and mentoring. Out of that passion and purpose, the idea for The Leadership Seed was born more than a decade ago. It is now just emerging from the ground, much like a seed itself. It took a while to germinate, and it had to have the right environment, nutrition, light, and other things to begin the growth process and become what it was intended to become.

Does the world need another book, article, or newsletter about leadership? Let's be real....probably not.

That is okay. I am laboring to transfer thoughts, lessons, ideas, and knowledge from my own life and leadership journey simply because I want to and feel like this is what I am supposed to be doing. I am really writing for an audience of one. I may be that one. You may be that one. Time will tell. I am okay with the outcome either way.

So, what will I be writing about?

I plan to share real lessons and insights from my life and leadership journey that can:

  • Provide real value to other leaders
  • Help others discover, learn, and grow in their leadership journey
  • Assist others in avoiding pitfalls, mistakes, and landmines along the way
  • Make you laugh, smile, or appreciate something in your life

I encourage you to check out my story and profile here on LinkedIn, and if there is something from my background or content that you want to hear more about, let me know. I am passionate about helping other leaders and seek particularly to serve other CXOs, transitioning veterans, those contemplating or in the midst of a career transition, and emerging leaders.

For now, I plan to publish every other week on Wednesdays. I hope you will get planted and come grow with me through The Leadership Seed. Until next time.

Be well,

Bryan J. Stewart the power of "seed" is an incredible metaphor. The mustard seed is a great example. So is the slow growth of bamboo...I am equally as passionate about the true organic movement of how leadership morphs over time. I'd humbly submit that the essence and foundation of great leadership is love. The profound nature of that truth is a deep rabbit hole worth exploring.
