SPOR Group's Madi Kenny and Chelsea Boden Raise £1570 for BURPS Charity
At SPOR Group , we are immensely proud of our team members Madi Kenny and Chelsea Boden , who recently took on the extraordinary challenge of skydiving to raise funds for the incredible Burps Charity . This charity supports the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, providing essential care and support to newborns and their families during critical times.
Our co-founder, Chris Gore MBA , and his wife experienced firsthand the exceptional care provided by BURPS at Stoke Mandeville's NICU. Their daughter, Millie, encountered breathing difficulties shortly after birth and was immediately taken to the NICU. Thanks to the incredible support and expertise of the BURPS team, Millie fought bravely and emerged victorious. Now, she is happily at home with her twin sister Sophia, and the family is deeply grateful for the care they received.
After a few weeks of fundraising, and an exciting but nerve-wracking day at Black Knights Skydiving Centre, we are thrilled to announce Madi and Chelsea were able to present BURPS Charity with a cheque of £1570 on Thursday! What an amazing achievement for a fantastic cause.

“Madi and I decided it would be a great idea to raise some money for charity in some way and thought what better way to do it by jumping out of a plane! This pushed both of us our of a comfort zone and would be a life changing experience. We then discussed which charity we would like to raise money for and the first thing which popped into our head was BURPS charity. As this was a charity which we know helped Chris and Maxine while one of their twin babies struggled in the NICU when she was born. We researched this charity and discovered the amazing work which they do! We spent months raising money for this while getting extremely nervous for the day!
Now for the skydive… We waited around for a while due to weather conditions; we then had our safety debrief and it was time for us to get on the plane! Within no time we had reached 15,000ft and it was time to jump! The jump itself was the most amazing experience we had both ever had! We had a 1-minute freefall and our top speed for the freefall was 140mph. After the freefall the parachute was opened, and we slowly made our way back down to the ground with the most amazing views and a very surreal feeling the whole time.
We are incredibly proud of ourselves for jumping out of a plane and raising £1570 for BURPS!”
