Spot On Insurance Welcomes Chris Senkbile

Customer-centric has been a business buzzword for a while now. Obviously, owners and agents want to keep their customers happy.  Too often, however, they lack the infrastructure to realize this goal. Chris Senkbile wants to provide that platform.

Chris is a Vice President and Risk Consultant for Unico Group, Inc. He is also the CEO of Project Ferro. Chris founded Ferro when he realized that a fragmented provider marketplace coupled with an equally fragmented advisor distribution model could never offer a fully integrated solution for insurance buyers. Ferro leverages Chris’s deep understanding of the traditional provider/advisor distribution model and its inherent flaws to create that customer-centric solution.

From his experience as a commercial insurance broker, Chris understood that the process of moving data through the insurance ecosystem is a pain point. It doesn’t add value for policyholders, and it can make it difficult for consumers to understand how insurance works. He also knew that insureds value their relationships with trusted brokers, so he wanted to design a way to collaborate digitally with clients that wouldn’t exclude them.

In researching the different stakeholders, Chris discovered that policyholders are by far the most “aligned” group. Strengthening their role was the logical place to begin aligning the entire insurance ecosystem in a mutually beneficial way. Thus, the Ferro platform puts the policyholder and their underwriting data at the core of its system and then enables a smooth flow of data to and from diverse agency management systems. This empowers consumers to truly engage with our industry and brings clarity and transparency to the process.
