With Marriott International at the helm and BLINK Design Group overseeing the project, the hotel will boast 300 rooms, an expansive WET deck, and top-tier amenities, including a spa and fitness center.

Durar Moonstone South will rise as a 16-floor residential building

The Durar Moonstone South will rise as a 16-floor residential building with over 200 units, ranging from one-bedroom apartments to luxurious four-bedroom penthouses.

Oceano project is a premium residential development

Oceano is a premium residential development by The Luxe Developers on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah. Overlooking the Arabian Gulf, the complex will consist of 2 twin 17-storey towers, which will have free-flowing glass facades with minimalist frames.

The entrance of Oceano will wow occupants and guests alike with a dynamic cascading fountain and landscaping.

Aqua Arc project by BNW Developments

Next, we shift focus to the Aqua Arc project by BNW Developments, which adds yet another layer of luxury to Marjan Island.

This residential complex feature 1, 2, and 3-bedroom apartments and lavish penthouses. In an exclusive interview with Amit Puri, the CEO of BNW Developments, he shared the vision behind Aqua Arc. He explained that "Al Marjan is set to be a Major tourism hotspot for the UAE and a key residential location in the Northern Emirates- an ideal location for future growth."

This statement highlights the growing importance of Marjan Island in shaping the residential and tourism market in the region.

Le Méridien Al Marjan Island Resort & Spa

Other exciting projects include Le Méridien Al Marjan Island Resort & Spa, set to start construction in 2025, and Masa Residences, a 12-floor complex designed by QHC Architects & Engineers and YOO Studio.

With everything from tennis courts to a mini theatre, this development is geared towards families and high-end living.

Danah Bay by Dubai Investments Real Estate Company also adds to the island's allure with luxury apartments and waterfront townhouses.

Wynn Resort and Casino - the crown jewel of Marjan Island’s development

But the crown jewel of Marjan Island’s development is, without a doubt, the Wynn Resort and Casino. Poised to redefine the hospitality and entertainment landscape in Ras Al Khaimah, the Wynn Resort is the first beach resort developed by Wynn Resorts globally. Marjan, Wynn Resorts, and Abu Dhabi National Hotels Company have partnered to bring this extraordinary project to life.

With Dewan Architects & Engineers as the lead consultant and architecture designed by HKS Architects, the Wynn Resort will offer a staggering 1,000 rooms alongside a high-end shopping esplanade, more than ten dining venues, and a state-of-the-art convention facility with Interior design by Horton Interiors.

ALEC Engineering and Contracting LLC is the main contractor for this project, and ALEMCO Electro-Mechanical Contracting is heading up the MEP works. Structural works are progressing on the development and completion is set for January 2027.

Standing on a vast 250,000 square meter plot, the resort will feature an 18,500 square meter casino, which is expected to be one of the largest in the world. This marks a significant moment, as the Wynn Resort is the first integrated resort with gaming facilities to be developed in the UAE.

From luxury accommodations to unparalleled entertainment options, the Wynn Resort is on track to become the crown jewel of Marjan Island, attracting visitors from across the globe.
