The story behind the Fintech Marketing Hub
Up until last week, I didn’t have the setting for notifying my network of my profile changes here on. But, I decided to activate it as I really wanted to spread the word about the launch of The Fintech Marketing Hub.
And, unsurprisingly, I received a lot of reactions and private messages congratulating me on my “new role” as a Founder, which is great!
While the title “Founder” might sound very exciting and big, I want to be seen more as a facilitator. Right now, the hub is just a “side hustle” and a big idea I’m trying to realise:
“To bring the fintech marketing community together and help shape the fintech marketing leaders of the future”.
Some of you might ask: But WHY?
First, because when I started my career, I would have loved to be able to speak to more senior and experienced marketing professionals and learn from them. Unfortunately, I didn’t have that opportunity.
But now, I can do this virtually for everyone who wants to get inspired and learn by creating a digital community platform where marketers of all experience levels can connect and exchange ideas and insights.
Second, because I got genuinely frustrated by the fact that there was no dedicated fintech marketing media to keep me up-to-date on the latest trends and news in the industry, and I was wasting hours searching for them.
Now I’m looking for all fintech marketing experts out there and their exciting stories! If you are one of them or know any, please get in touch, or simply “like” this post for more people to see it so we can spread the word.
