FNB Namibia at the 7th China International Import Expo

On the 5th-7th of November 2024, the FNB Namibia Commercial team proudly joined the Namibian delegation of business investors with interests in both China and Namibia at the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) that took place in Shanghai, China. The event served as a dynamic platform for fostering investment opportunities and strengthening business ties between Namibia and China.
The Namibian delegation consisted of Deputy Minister of Mines & Energy of Namibia, Kornelia Shilunga; Ambassador of the Republic of Namibia in China, Dr. Elia George Kaiyamo; FNB Commercial team members Rivan Meyer, Anna Nambahu, and Priscilla Akudhenga; as well as other local Namibian businesses and authorities.
During the week of the Expo, a Namibia-China 2024 High-level Business Forum (NCHBF) aimed at addressing investment opportunities in mining, banking, and other key industries and sectors took place on the 7th of November and featured a roundtable discussion of Namibia-China cooperation for a better shared future.
