Supporting Our Community through the Covid-19 Pandemic
Companies are having to furlough employees resulting in loss of income and healthcare coverage. But disease does not wait - chronic conditions must be managed, medicines must be taken, lab work must be monitored, and changes in status must be addressed. What are people to do? We are hearing from our patients that they are scared and insecure about the future.
Thus GOH (Game of Health) Medical has made the commitment to stand with the community to insure every person has access to primary care. We are dropping our cash price by 50% on Fee For Service and Advanced (Direct) Primary Care until June 30th, 2020. In addition if even this reduced amount leads to financial challenges we will care for them without charge.
We believe Primary Care needs to step up at this time and we encourage others to do the same. For more information here are the details or feel free to call us at 972 292-7158 ext 2.

4yBrainstorming with you, my friend. We did a similar thing. Our cash prices were already low (sliding scale for uninsured). During COVID, we offer TeleMed for a trivial fee and wave associated lab costs. It has caused us to also have to furlough staff and risk going out of business, but people have been stepping up and contributed from the private sector. I have been amazed at the selflessness of those who are surely suffering too, but not as much as our patients. If we close many of them have nowhere. But our community is seizing its time to shine. Great opportunity to show the reality of you beliefs, your care for others, your respect for people who do much of the work in our towns who are struggling to get by. The bailouts are helping but they are not enough. Let’s not leave it to just the government. The most effective way to help people is through personal kindness, personal giving. Let’s do it out of love, faith and appreciation for what we have been given. Don’t expect primary care to just take on the burden. We need help. Finally, many will stay uninsured and were uninsured before. Will more practices take the risk to reach out? There is a certain privilege that comes from standing in the gap for them.
