We are immensely proud and honored to showcase our work at the Joint Annual Conference of the Israeli Colorectal and Abdominal Wall Societies at the Dead Sea. Our presentations, “Combination of Progressive Preoperative Pneumoperitoneum and Botulinum Toxin A Injection for Patients with Significant Incisional Hernia with Loss of Domain for Abdominal Wall Reconstruction: Case Series and Lessons Learned,” alongside “FASCIOTENS – Advanced Technology for Open Abdomen Management During Wartime: A Case Report and Lessons Learned,” highlight innovative approaches that could greatly benefit our patients.

We were fortunate to have Drs. Svetlana Davidos and Wasim Nejidat, who passionately articulated the importance of these projects, sharing invaluable insights. Dr. Sergey Dumchick, the driving force behind our Abdominal Wall Unit, also contributed significantly to our discussion. Additionally, our dedicated team members, Guy Golani and Zvi Perry, as well as the esteemed head of our Surgical Department, Prof. Itzhak Avital, were also a part of these research projects, reinforcing the collaborative spirit that fuels our research and advances in surgical techniques.
