Why I Chose Tech:

I grew up building and repairing computers with my dad, which ultimately led me to pursue a degree in a computer science and engineering field. I've always been drawn to the latest innovations, and wanting to understand how grand an impact technology has on our lives. I guess in a sense tech chose me because it's always been a major part of my life.

Advice for future #BlackInTech Professionals

If you're curious about pursuing tech or learning a new field in tech, give it a shot. I hear a lot of people tell me they're nervous it may not be for them, but I've seen many people from many different professional backgrounds change paths to tech or a new role within tech, and they always continue to shine. There are many ways to achieve the same goal, and people should go for it if they think it'd be a good fit for them.
