TapaTalks, a swapping success!

TapaTalks, a swapping success!

Hello there, fellow fashionistas and eco-warriors! We want to share our excitement about the amazing TapaTalk we hosted on September 19th. It was a big success, and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

First and foremost, we want to send a massive shoutout to all the participants who made this event possible. Your enthusiasm and willingness to embrace the idea of swapping clothes rather than buying new ones warmed our hearts. It's remarkable how coming together as a community can make such a big impact. As a cherry on top, participants walked away with some truly one-of-a-kind pieces that will certainly be their new favourites.

And speaking of communities, we want to express our sincere gratitude to Inusual Projects for providing us with the perfect venue for our swap. Without their generosity, our event wouldn't have been half as fabulous.

One of the highlights of the day was our expert speaker, Tamaris de Almeida Souza, who shared her insightful tips on embracing slow fashion. She spoke about the importance of investing in quality pieces that last longer, and gave unexpected tips and tricks on how to make your items last longer. Her wisdom was a real eye-opener for many of us, and we left the event feeling more inspired to make sustainable choices in our fashion journey. Did you know you can bleach your whites by hanging them in the sun, to make them look like new again?

So, a huge thank you once again to all the participants, Inusual Projects, and our fantastic speaker, Tamaris. Your contributions made our TapaTalk a smashing success, and we can't wait to see where our sustainable fashion journey takes us next.

And speaking of next: we heard your requests and are working hard to make this event a regular one!

Wow, that looked like a wonderful gathering for the sustainability community!
