Our hope is that you can help other teachers understand what your school is like by telling us the things that you love about your school and maybe hint at a few things you would like to see improve. The group costs nothing to join but we hope it will allow you to gain a deeper insight into you future destinations.

Tell me something about your International School

www.leopardfish.com are are looking for some insights into the many International Schools around the world. What is it like to work there, is the pay any good, are the management Angels or Demons.... Just let us know your thoughts so that we can share these amongst the wider teaching community.

You may also want to comment on your location and the schools that you would consider worthy of working at. For instance I live in Prague and would recommend The English College, Park Lane, and ISP as the top three schools to consider.

If you dont want to post directly please just send us a message to admin@leopardfish.com with your comments and we will post them anonymously for you. We encourage genuine reflections however any slanderous or libelous remarks will be moderared so please keep you observations appropriate for a public forum.

Our schools here in Tokyo are always looking out for early-years teachers and school managers who can operate in English and Japanese. Although we have a nice friendly school with reasonable pay, (and we have good opportunities for PD), we do have a bit of turn over and new positions opening every now and then.

Xi’an High Tech International School (XHIS) is a government owned and operated international school with about 60% Korean and 40% local Chinese demographic. There are a handful of other students from other places, however they are all teachers’ kids.

There are 3 international schools in Xi’an. XHIS and Hanova both offer IB continuum. Xi’an International School is American curriculum. Hanova and XIS are both privately owned and operated
