Tearing Down The Assumptions

It is okay to make assumptions. In fact, a lot of the things we do have basic assumptions underlying them. But even with assumptions in a lot of things, assumptions can hold us back in the very nature of the things we assume. Assumptions should be accepted, but not all assumptions should be accepted the same.

The goal from today’s post is to review some of the assumptions you make and agree with and see if you can indeed improve and make them better. Can you challenge some of the assumptions you make or believe?

Most times, when people have a call to review an assumption, we tend to look at the assumptions others have made. But one call I have for you today is to challenge the assumptions you have personally made for yourself. Are they the right assumptions? I am not good at this or that you say with very little effort. But looking through that, is it the truth? Can you improve on that or be better?

The goal is to be better than you were yesterday and sometimes, improving on the assumptions or ideas you had about yourself can help you be better. The assumptions you challenge today can indeed make you a better version of yourself. Especially challenge those assumptions that make you less of what you would love to be. What assumptions create a lesser version of you? Challenge those assumptions and grow from them.

Tear down the challenges that make you less of what you want to be like. Challenge the assumptions you have personally made for yourself and are limiting how you grow. The world awaits your greatness, but first, break free from the limiting assumptions that stop you.

You can be a good and amazing person if only you have the right assumptions. Improve and be better, seek God in all your affairs and you would be fine. Thanks for reading and God bless.
