In Q3 we launched our AI Recruitment Agent. It helped startups backed by top VCs like OpenAI, Index, General Catalyst and more make hires in an automated way. We're now looking for 2-3 VC partners.

Our AI Agent overview:

Our approach to an AI Agent-lead recruitment can be broken down into 2 pieces:

Proprietary data platform

To find the talent that’s matching sophisticated needs of VC and PE-backed companies we’ve connected data from multiple sources. It includes information like the entire content of LinkedIn, very granular information about companies (descriptions, funding, headcount, investors, funding rounds etc.), information about universities, seniority etc.

We’re also creating new, easily accessible high-signal metrics that can be easily presented to the user because we were able to connect many fragmented data sources. Examples of such metrics would be:

  • The stage at which people worked at companies in their career
  • Finding people who worked at companies backed by specific investors
  • TechTree score - talent quality score taking into account multiple factors

The "TechTree" Score:

Our algorithm ranks candidates based on:
- Tenure length
- Number of promotions
- Quality of investors backing companies they’ve worked for
- Educational background
- Stage-related experience

AI Research Agent & Automated outreach

The way our agent works is simple from the user standpoint - it’s modeled on the interaction people have with recruiters and it does not require our clients to learn to use a new tool. The UX works in the following way:

STEP 1: Let us know who you’re looking for

  • Copy and paste job descriptions
  • Answer additional questions in natural language for example “ideally worked at companies similar to Datadog” or “had experience at pre-seed / seed stage” companies
  • Review the criteria the agent applied based on the instruction

STEP2 (optional): Target list review

  • Review the target list of people found by the agent
  • Refine criteria or sort people based on similarity to the ideal candidate
  • Save the final target list

STEP3: Review interested candidates

  • TT agent reaches out to people
  • Interested candidates are automatically shared with the client via a preferred channel (ATS, Slack, email)
  • (optional) as some startups don’t have talent teams we can screen

This approach helped us to achieve quite amazing metrics:

  • Over 80% of candidates shared are invited to the interview
  • Over 75% of candidates who did the first interview were invited to the further stages of the process
