Temper - Take control of your workforce with our 5* Freelancers

After 12 long years of working in recruitment, I am fully aware of the problems you can come up against when hiring agency staff.

Will the person working the shift turn up? If they do turn up, great start. But are they going to be right for the job?

I have spoken with many clients who explain that sometimes it is easier and more productive for them to not cover sickness or holidays as they spend more time training the staff they are sent, which can result in themselves or team members being taken away from their own job.

4 years ago, I made the best decision of my career to date to step away from the traditional agency model and join the world of app based recruitment.

Temper goes against the usual traditional set up of an agency and gives complete control and choice to the worker. What this means is each worker who turns up to a job has chosen to be there, they have read the job description and are taking accountability for that job, whether its a day booking or a month. A consultant has not called them prior to attending and 'sold the dream' or 'asked for a favour'. I have been that consultant on the other end of the phone who would beg a worker to turn up to site as I didn't want to let my client down. All whilst knowing the site was too far for the worker to get to or they didn't have the right experience my client had specifically asked for. Reflecting on this it never worked and that fear of not wanting to disappoint my client in the short run would just result in them loosing trust in me and the company I represented.

The term 'agency staff' can have negative connotations and nearly every client who uses recruitment agencies will have stories to tell of bad experiences, but is this always down to bad workers? A lot of the time its because there has been a break down of communication somewhere along the line. Perhaps you think you are paying that worker more than you actually are, or maybe the consultant has only relayed half of the job spec you gave them.

As a client of Temper from day one you have complete transparency of everything. You have full visibility of a candidates photo, previous work history, ratings from our other clients and a full break own of costs. Nothing is hidden and you have the control. The worker was not right for you? you can block them. The worker was great! Add them to your virtual pool so you can get them back in next time.

Temper gives you the opportunity to hire trustworthy, hard-working staff that are a good business fit all at a click of a few buttons.

Temper removes the 'middle man' and allows communication directly to the worker. You can be sure that no messages are not being passed on or you are not faced with the delay of not being able to contact your consultant or the office. The app is both web and mobile based and most importantly it is very easy to use (I can confirm this as I am not tech-savvy at all)

Currently Temper are working with thousands of clients across the Facilities Management, Industrial, Retail and Hospitality sectors over the UK to change the way they recruit for the better.

What more could be better? We do not charge for permanent hiring, if you like our worker, as soon as 1 shift has been completed your able to hire them with no cost. We are not an agency.

Temper has no sign up fee or minimum spend, you simply sign up and you are ready. I really do recommend if things are a bit quieter than usual due to the current circumstances then it is a good time to explore Temper so that you are ready to post for that job when it comes in.

I can hold a virtual demo with you that takes around 20-30 minutes where I can fully show you all of the features of Temper and why these are in place.

Please reach out to me on the below details for further information and help spread the word if you know of anyone in a hiring position.
