Ten Sexual Harassment Risk Areas

In guidance for the Preventative Duty on Sexual Harassment coming into force on 26th October(just three weeks away!),the Equality Commission have profiled 10 risk areas:-

  1. Power imbalances
  2. Lone working
  3. Presence of alcohol
  4. Seasonal events like Christmas Parties
  5. Customer-facing duties
  6. Events that raise tensions locally or nationally
  7. Lack of diversity in the workforce
  8. Workers being placed on secondment
  9. Inappropriate text and WhatsApp messages
  10. Personal relationships at work

Could one or more of these apply at your place of work? Any others? What are you going to do about it now?

Are you ready to start implementing the new Preventative Duty?

We have arranged an ON-LINE training course for Tuesday  15th October at 10.00 am and closing at 1330. It is reasonably priced at £30.00 per head. Places are limited. There is capacity for 16 people.

Book now for course details and payment arrangements.
