Thank you

Thank you

Like many of you I am in the midst of my 2nd week of working from home. As we are all living and working through unprecedented times with each day bringing a new development for us to process, I wanted to take a moment to share some heartfelt thanks.

Firstly, thank you to those Capgemini teams around the world that are working with our clients to maintain essential or critical services. Through the management of information systems or other digital services, they contribute to maintaining the production and distribution of energy, to enabling transportation, to operating and running health systems, banks, and supplying food stores.

While our team members are working hard to support our clients, many are also going the extra mile by engaging in pro-bono projects or volunteering activities to help sanitation authorities, health centers, and hospitals in the fight against COVID-19. Some are supporting the distribution of medical equipment; some are bringing their expertise to build and deploy digital solutions to assist in diagnosis, check temperatures or monitor the status of patients at home; some are supporting the orchestration of supply and logistic needs. There are many other inspiring examples which I look forward to sharing with you in more detail in the weeks to come.

It's a big thank from me to all of those that are actively participating in the fight against this virus to maintain our critical services and support our health authorities, and of course to the health staff themselves who are working tirelessly to look after us all.

I wish you all a good week. And to be honest, I didn't expect to be sharing these kinds of posts with you. I didn’t expect to finish a message on LinkedIn by saying ‘be safe’. But this is the reality of today and more importantly, this is the priority for each and every one of us.

Take care.
