Thank you T-Mobile!

Thank you T-Mobile!

I had the opportunity to enable the success of America's fastest LTE network for almost 3 years through recruiting. I won't bore people with the daily details of the who, what, where and how--but I will speak some to the why. Lots of companies talk about #BeYou and talk about engagement, but T-Mobile has been the only company in my 20+ years recruiting that really embraces and encourages employees to be themselves. They live their brand in my personal experience. If you're passionate about Veterans, T-Mobile WANTS you to get involved--they encourage it! If multi-cultural issues matter--get involved! If you want to march in a Pride parade--go march, and share photos (you'll likely get many a re-tweet). If you want to be on social media--they encourage it! Tweet, write, express your opinions. Having worked in quasi government for a numbers of years, I have to confess an organization that outright encourages you to express yourself was a huge change--and frankly a sigh of authenticity. They actually mean it. T-Mobile's leaders are all over social media talking about what they do and how they do it. If you ever have a problem with your service, write one of them via social media, you may be surprised.

As my last day with T-Mobile approaches, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone across the Human Resources and Field Engineering teams for making my employment experience a fantastic one overall. If I tried to list all of the HR and Engineering team members who made a difference, I'd forget a few, so I won't try. But if you're in HR or tech, just know that you're working alongside a special crew of talent. They're people who are great at what they do and people who care. The hash tags #BeYou and #BeMagenta are not just feel good words, in my experience they're true. I cannot wait to see T-Mobile become #1 in wireless in 5 years, because I have zero doubt that this will happen. Be long on T-Mobile stock because it's going to rise. I will always identify T-Mobile as an employer of choice, and always encourage the use of thier network. Thank you T-Mobile and good luck!
