Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving?

Sometimes it’s easy to focus on the negative versus the positive, the things we don’t have versus the things we do have. I fall into that trap all too often and the “woe is me” settles in. I heard a talk recently by a Pastor friend of mine and he stated that we are ALL rich and have more than any other civilization in the history of the world. More than kings, royalty and even the barons of business in the early 19th century. Why? How can that be? Well, we can turn a handle and clean water flows without effort, flip a switch and the light goes on, we all have a gas powered chariot or two or three, heat and AC flow freely from a vent in nearly every building, we have a soft warm bed to sink into every night and the list could go on and on. So, his premise of being rich is absolutely true if one just looks at what we have versus what we don’t have. That got me thinking about “Thanksgiving” and what a GREAT time of year to hear his message.

So, let me share with each of you how thankful I am, not only for all the things I take for granted like clean water and electricity, but for each of you reading this message in my personal and professional network, thank you! Each of you has blessed me and / or my business in countless ways and for that I am so grateful. You inspire me daily and I look forward to breathing some clean air into our lungs or having a cold glass of clean water together (maybe with a little scotch 😊) over this holiday season or in the new year.

I’m taking stock of all there is to be thankful for this week and would encourage you to do the same! And share it with your families around the Thanksgiving table!

God bless you all and have a BLESSED and safe Thanksgiving holiday with your families.

Sincerely,

Dan Heiman
