A Thanksgiving Reflection: Who Have You Become?

A Thanksgiving Reflection: Who Have You Become?

This Thanksgiving, as I reflect on gratitude, the thought of expressing thanks on LinkedIn to my followers and connections naturally came to mind—but not just for the reasons one might expect.

Yes, I am deeply thankful for your trust—whether you've invited me to speak, engaged with my content, or collaborated with me professionally. But my gratitude goes far deeper than the opportunities you've extended.

I am thankful for the ways you have shaped me. By allowing me glimpses into your world, by challenging me with your questions, and by sharing your thoughts, stories, and aspirations, you've helped me grow. This year, because of you, I've become bolder, more insightful, more inspired, and more deeply aligned with my purpose.

Every interaction has been a mirror, showing me not just what I've accomplished but who I am becoming. And isn't that the most meaningful reflection of all? Thanksgiving, for me, isn't just about what I have—it's about recognizing the journey of growth and transformation that others have sparked within me. Sometimes, that's a pleasant journey, and other times, it is challenging and even painful. In any case, it is sooo worth it and something for which I am forever grateful.

Reflections

This season, I invite you to reflect on who you have become over the past year. Not on what you've achieved or crossed off your list but on the deeper, more profound transformation within. Consider these questions:

  • What significant things happened over the past year? (If you can't remember, it's a sign that you may need a little more reflection or journaling in your life.)
  • What did you gain to support your future self?
  • What did you eliminate that didn't support who you want to be and become?
  • How are you different today than you were in January 2024? What qualities or strengths have you gained over the past year?
  • How has your vision of your future self evolved, and what bold steps will you take over the next year?
  • How have your relationships or interactions shaped who you've become?
  • Who has helped you grow this year, and how can you express your thanks?

From my heart to yours

Thank you. For your trust, your inspiration, and your part in helping me step boldly into my future self.

May your Thanksgiving be filled with gratitude not just for what you've done but for who you are and who you've become.

Let's continue this journey of bold, transformational growth—together.

Warm wishes,
