That’s A Wrap On 2024 🚀

It’s that time of year again when we write the last LinkedIn posts, pull together the yearly-end reports, and head out the door for the holidays.

The end of the year is always a time to reflect on the past year and look forward. The year 2024 was full of joys—but also deep reflection on the next chapter of my business.

I spent hours climbing mountains, speaking to locals, eating plenty of yummy food, and being immersed in nature. 2024 will always be the year I broke free of the grind and found nature again.

It’s vastness, complexity, and respectful beauty.

You often see these breathtaking natural spots on social media—but it’s not until you immerse yourself in these places that you realize the little control over the forces at work in the world. I think this perspective was immensely valuable and reinforced my business mission.

In 2024, I

…traveled over 20,000 miles.

…visited 10 states in the USA.

…took thousands of photographs of nature.

But I also,

…published 185 times on LinkedIn to a community of 6,000 humans.

…had important posts go viral with the ‘ecomarketer’ message.

…hosted 5 events on sustainability.

…partnered with impact businesses doing good.

With 2025 just around the corner, I’m revealing the next chapter of my business.

We’re continuing our mission to reshape marketing to be people and planet first in 2025—through two pathways:

  • Writing great content and creating performing strategies (greenwash-free), designed to be low-carbon and low-impact, benefiting people, the planet, and profit.
  • Contributing half of our working time advocating for the marketing as a force for good movement and supporting marketers to step into the ecomarketer role.

In 2025, I will host more volunteer events to bring like-minded sustainability enthusiasts and marketers together to collaborate.

You can look forward to:

  • Berlin-based events for marketers, creatives, and sustainability professionals.
  • Taking the stage to advocate for the ‘marketing as a force for good movement’.
  • Attending sustainability events throughout Europe to connect with peers.
  • More content on sustainable marketing and how to use your talents as a force for good on YouTube, LinkedIn, and my newsletter

If you celebrate, I wish you a wonderful Christmas season.

And for my whole community, I wish you peace, joy, and moments full of love—going into the new year.

Wishing you a great start to 2025.

Your friend, Megan
