Think Different....!!
Very common way of defining the word 'Different' is 'Uncommon', 'Not common', 'Unusual' and many other synonyms. But does defining this word in this way do justice to the value attached to it? Probably No!
Thinking different is actually not as simple as to just define it as 'to think different'. Then, What is it? What does 'Think Different' mean?
To start with, we must see how thinking works? In very simple terms and a broader perspective, the information received by receptors of various sense organs is processed by our mind in conscience and sub conscious mode based on our conditioning, be it actual or subliminal and then our actions or reactions become the output.
Now, how this process becomes common? As we grow up, we condition ourselves or are being conditioned by the family, society, environment, certain incidences and so on that make us develop a fixed response to a stimulus which is based on the beliefs, facts we believe in or are made to believe in. And so whatever we see, hear, feel, taste or smell generates a fixed response which later on become a permanent way we respond or think.
Think Different! How this happens? The biological flow of information from stimulus to receptors to brain to effectors to response remains the same as in common thinking process. The difference occurs at processing stage, because here the conditioning is not biased to generating a specific response. It is driven more by curiosity, analytical reasoning, right combination of Intelligence quotient (IQ) and Emotional quotient (EQ) and so on. Thus, there occur a difference in a way the stimulus is perceived and which ultimately creates a difference in response.
In a nutshell, Think Different is state of mind, which probably makes you answer 'What if?' to anything perceived and to understand that there are other ways to perceive things, hence differences in responses occur which further trigger different ways of perceiving things and so this cycle of 'Think Different' goes on.
