Thought for the Day ~ The Quiet Mind, is the most Powerful
Always do your best........it is the quiet mind that is most powerful. We live in a time and space where we must actively seek peace for ourselves if we are to live our best life. A part of everyday needs to be dedicated to just being in stillness. It is the way that we separate ourselves from frantic thoughts and worries that will consume us if we let them. It is a kind of liberation that allows us to just be with our thoughts without becoming attached to the emotions they conjure up. When we choose to liberate ourselves from fear and other intense emotions...we set a pattern for many others in our circle of friends and associates to follow. Being in the moment means that we are prepared to be with every aspect of ourselves. That we love ourselves enough to make peace, stillness, and meditation a part of our daily routine.
You have to be committed to self-care before you can carve out space in each day that is just for you. A special place of serenity where you are free to be you. A place where difficult times become your teacher; and where you understand so much better than before how infinitely rich and beautiful life is in every way. Be committed to finding that space for yourself each day. A place where you can be who you truly are, a place where you are able to see clearly and set intentions. A place where you are able to understand what is really important in life. A place where you can heal when you need to....and where you are reminded that healing is not complicated. It is one thing, and one thing only, it is doing what you have to do, even when you want to resist. And so, it is. Namaste

Deepak Chopra said "Think clearly and concisely. Weed out prejudices and personal biases. Examine your assumptions to make sure they aren't second hand or unproved. Explore every thought in depth. Pay attention to subtle impulses, focusing on them until they expand or unfold. See each thought without judging or dismissing it prematurely. Walk around and see your thoughts from several angles. Be sure you aren't influenced too much by stress, emotion, or the heat of the moment. Be above the drama of the situation."
