Threads, Folds and Rabbit Hole by Kristy Deetz has is open to the public and it's on view until September 23, 2023!
The exhibition presents a series of mixed media paintings with embroidery and digital manipulation by Kristy Deetz. Alluding to Lewis Caroll's "Through the Looking-Glass," Deetz good-humoredly deconstructs imagery from pop, outsider, and high culture to create new spaces of meaning. The artist takes us into a rabbit hole of absurdism, exploring a fantastical, surrealist world. With a cameo by artist Evelyn Politzer.
