Three Ways to Channel Positive Energy in the Office Space

Three Ways to Channel Positive Energy in the Office Space

You may have heard of the law of attraction. You may also have heard of quantum physics. Both are very similar. Thoughts become "things". The more energy you put into your thoughts, that same energy attracts back and when you put focus and concentration into your desires, they will magnify back to you. While some people think this is "woo woo" talk, many others believe in its powers. I'm one of those people who not only believe in it, but I teach it to the corporate world, and to small business owners and their teams for a positive office culture.

We have on days and off days. We have great clients and annoying ones. We have marketing folks that nail it and others that completely miss the mark. We have colleagues that reach out to us in a timely fashion and others that leave us hanging.

It's never an easy moment and then some days, we flow like water. So, what do we do on those off days when we feel like the pits and everything is on fire in the mind? Here are 3 helpful tips to keep your positivity flowing no matter what it is that you're facing.

  1. Be here, NOW. Ram Dass wrote a book with that title and to date, it's probably one of the greatest titles I've ever heard for a book. Be here now is a statement of purpose learning that your past is gone and your future hasn't arrived yet, so where are you rushing to and/or why are you living in your past. Let your spirit become one with the moment because you cannot have time back and when you realize the presence in the present, take a nice deep inhale and open the mouth, letting the exhale release everything that does not serve you.
  2. Thoughts attract things. If you're focussing on or talking about, even ruminating about the BS of life, people, circumstances, the guy who cut you off or the amount of work you have on your desk, that's what will return back to you. If you see your problems as having solutions, or as I call it, becoming a solutions based thinker, found in my book, Design Your Mind to be Kind, you will do better in this game of life. Pause, catch yourself and free your spirit whenever you're in this midst of a painful thought or an erratic moment of chaos, just settle the heart and focus on the solution. Talk about the solution rather than getting caught up in the web of complaints.
  3. Take a freaking darn walk, my friends. One of the best things you can do to get out of the situation you're in that's causing you pain is to take a walk. Even if it's a short walk. You get out of the energy of the space of the negative vibe and you walk away. When you walk, you can think of other things, find your center, focus on your purpose, delay anger, meet people, see someone and smile at them, see someone smile at you or find a place in yourself for forgiveness for feeling so blehhhh...

I could go on, honestly, but I'll keep it short. I will however, suggest that you read my books found at www.thekindcommunicator.com/books and invest in The Self-Help Booster, to take you towards your next calm moment so that you can free your spirit and find levity is such a heavy, weighted time of your life.

Namaste. I am here for you as a coach if you need me.

In a recent yoga class, my instructor said that when we rush in life, we are not honoring mother earth and we are missing our very essence of breath... why pound the pavement when you can gently stride?
