Time Cannot Be Managed

Time Cannot Be Managed

Time is our most precious commodity, and how we manage it separates the rich, (not only money and wealth, but also health, relationships, and any area of life) from the poor, (those who do not experience these things in their lives to the degree that they want to).

The truth is you cannot manage time anyway. It keeps marching on with or without your intentional involvement. It keeps marching on. All you can do is manage yourself within the confines of this 24-7-365 matrix.

Time management is really about self-management.

Dr. Oz- When asked his secret for the management of time, (at the time Oz was performing over 250 open heart surgeries a year, was chairman of surgery, a director of a medical program, his own five-day-a-week TV program, a prolific writer, dedicated husband and father of four.

He said, “It is not about time management, it is about energy management. The things you do in life should give you that zest for life. If you are doing a good job efficiently and effectively using your time but you’re doing things that drain your life-force and zap your joy, what good is really being done? You will immediately know if you should be spending your time on something whether it gives you energy or takes it away.”

Your self-management task is to spend more time on what gives you energy and to guard against, eliminate, delegate, or mitigate your time on those things that take energy away from you.

As an investor of your time, you want to look for better ways to get a better return on energy (a better ROE). What are the things that you have to do today that drain your energy, and what are the things you get to do today that give you energy?

In my experience, our subconscious noise (emotions, negative self-talk, labeling of yourself and others) and fighting this throughout the day can create a huge mental, emotional, and physical drain on energy.

Learning how to identify your subconscious noise, what is triggering it, and then how to shift the habits of thinking that create it is the most effective way to maximize ROE which directly impacts ROI at home and in business.

If it would serve you to better understand how to maximize ROE, DM me.

Couldn't agree more! The energy we put out into the world is what we get back. So it's important to start each day with a positive attitude and mindset. That way, we can attract more positive things into our lives. #PositiveVibes #AttitudeIsEverything
