Ode to TIME vs. MONEY (AKA The Coronavirus Conundrum)

One can always make more money, but not more time. While it is true that TIME is the most precious of all commodities, it is equally important to consider that TIME is also a depreciating asset (especially as we get older). It must be cherished, protected, made the most of, and never, ever wasted.

One of the discoveries of living a rewarding life and career of over-achieving (and over-attaining), was learning that you can never really own anything in life, that doesn't ultimately own you, and your time.

So, we must be careful of what we wish for (yes, because you just may get it), and always consider the costs, in both money and time. Those "wishes and goals" if attained, may be more expensive than you think. You may find that you are draining your "TIME" bank at much more costly rate than first considered as you were feeding your "MONEY" bank.

You should also know, that if the only life you are looking to improve is you’re own, then you are wasting your most precious of personal assets and are indeed part of the problem in a world that is desperately in need of solutions.

Help replace arrogant ignorance with intellectual humility. Let kindness, benevolence and empathy be seen as your greatest strength and use it to influence positive change.

Let that be your legacy!

May you always have ENOUGH of the things you need for yourself and more than ENOUGH of the things you'd like to share with others. In this way, your hands will always be extended in friendship and never in want...

And should you find yourself more fortunate than others, build a longer table, not a taller fence. While the grass isn't always greener on the other side, it will always be greener where you water it!"
