tinyML Foundation Newsletter - August 19, 2024

Note from Pete

Greeting everyone, we’re in prep mode for a busy fall.

One of the great attributes of our community is that it’s people powered, even though it’s also deeply technical about arguably the most transformative technology of our lifetime.

We encourage you to take advantage of the Call for Presentations for both the “Edge GenAI” online forum on October 17 and the Taipei event on November 6th. These are great opportunities for the community to step forward and empower your colleagues with your insight and perspective!

And, as always, drop me a line with your feedback.

Reach out to Pete anytime at pete@tinyml.org

Generative AI at the Edge Forum - second edition

Call for Presentations: Beyond LLMs and Chatbots – the Journey to Generative AI at the Edge is now open!

DEADLINE for abstracts September 2, 2024!

Generative AI technology is at the heart of new applications yet to be invented, including a new wave of solutions that combine a large amount of smart sensors with LLMs to provide a better understanding of an environment or situation as well as autonomous systems applied to manufacturing via the deployment of humanoid robotics.

Therefore this “second edition” of the Generative AI at the Edge Forum on October 17, 2024 aims to review the progress appearing in the state-of-the-art. It will witness even more the transformative impacts that foundation models can bring to the edge pushing hardware, software, tooling, applications, and AI design.

Taipei

On November 6 we'll be celebrating the Taiwan community’s innovation in edge AI and tinyML.

The tinyML Foundation Taipei 2024 Technical Program Committee is excited to invite contributions from tinyML and edge AI experts hailing from industry, academia, start-ups, and government laboratories for the tinyML Foundation Taipei 2024.

We are seeking innovative and cutting-edge abstracts in the field of edge AI, on device AI and tiny machine learning.

DEADLINE for abstracts September 2, 2024.

Submit your abstract here.
