Tips to Help You Reboot Your LinkedIn Game
“Isn’t LinkedIn about finding a job?” 🤔 🤷
If you’re saying this about the platform, you’re not alone. 👋 We all “started” on the platform with that assumption. Then the platform started to change and we weren’t sure what to make of this “professional personal collision of thought leadership and job posting platform.” 😬
It can create some confusion about how to make the best use of our time on the platform! But here's what we’re now seeing on LinkedIn:
💥 There are now 810 Million Users on the platform, from over 200 different countries and is available in 25 different languages!
💥 60% of LinkedIn’s users are between 25 and 34 years old (wait what? 😳)
💥 LinkedIn saw a 55% increase in conversations among connections in 2021- this is where you and I want to be!
💥 4 out of 5 people on LinkedIn “drive business decisions” - you want to find decisions makers? You’re welcome.
💥 40% of B2B marketers surveyed said LinkedIn was the most effective channel for driving high-quality leads.
That former “job searching” platform has now become an incredible vehicle to:
🌟 Serve our clients
🌟 Attract new clients
🌟 Celebrate our successes
🌟 Find inspiration and helpful advice
🌟 Express our professional opinions and attract branding opportunities
🌟 Find new job opportunities (yes, it’s still very much about that!)

2yAnother book to add to the reading list. My theme for 2020 was 'Outsource, Automate, and Delegate' and it gave me so much freedom, that I bring it back year-over-year as one of my mantras for the year. A couple years ago I also participated in a Change Maker group led by Nick Gibson, and one of my key takeaways was how important and valuable ($$) my time is, and how much I'm willing to spend to keep it free to do value driven work.
