Business Central's dedication to simplifying workflows carries on with new upgrades to Copilot, Microsoft’s AI-powered virtual assistant. These enhancements enable faster task completion, such as generating sales orders directly from chat or compiling detailed product information, including variants and units of measure.
Microsoft is also expanding Copilot’s capabilities with improved chat extensibility, which allows users to pull in third-party content. This makes it even easier to leverage AI to optimize business processes.

A key highlight of the 2024 Release Wave 2 is the introduction of a subscription billing and revenue recognition module.
