Rodrigo Mattos started TMW TELECOM in 2002, like most of US Rural ISPs, he started with #Wireless, as #WISP, trying technologies he was creating in-house, overtime the business started to grow.
In 2011 he decided to start trying #FTTH, via #GPON technology in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, the further South of our beautiful country.
With this new technology he started to deliver 100Mbps or more what gave him a baseline for #IPTV, and here comes the Brazilian entrepreneurship mindset again.
It’s expensive to buy TV headend technology so he developed his own video stream service, very similar to what we see on YouTube TV or NetFlix.
He managed to get his encryption technology approved by the content distribution companies and nowadays he isn’t only offering affordable video streams to his customers but he can also export this technology to my customers in #RuralAmerica!

4yThe tmw company stands out in the region where it started two origins, however it stands out and tries to offer the best service still suffers a little, i believe that now with the return all Rodrigo to Brazil will improve.
