She writes:
Joining the Resources team has been a profoundly fulfilling experience. Here, I can contribute significantly to the organisation's success. Engaging in diverse projects, such as process improvement and the development of the employee value proposition (EVP), allows me to contribute to transforming Resources into an exceptional workplace. Through these initiatives, we will attract and engage talented individuals who can make a meaningful impact on the lives of Queenslanders.
My role in the Management and Analytics Human Resources team is incredibly rewarding. Wearing multiple hats, I delve into data research, craft strategic solutions and guidelines and interact with various stakeholders across business units. Addressing challenges and providing impactful HR solutions not only satisfies my passion, but also brings a sense of personal fulfillment and value to my work.
We ensure adherence to best practice and policy in recruitment and other areas, mitigating potential risk to the business. We thrive on identifying areas for process improvement and simplifying procedures. Each day comes with new learning opportunities and having supportive team members and an empowering team leader makes it a great place to work!
My current project involves planning strategic solutions to address the competitive talent market. To respond effectively, I am directing the refreshment of our EVP project and designing a recruitment strategy. This initiative aims to enhance our employee experience and identify compelling aspects that resonate with our workforce.

Part of this project involves creating the 'Life at Resources' guidebook, offering insights into why Resources is an exceptional place to work and highlighting what we can offer prospective candidates. Conducting surveys, analysing results and undertaking stakeholder consultation helps gather valuable insights, guiding us in making change and designing agile solutions – this really excites me!
I firmly believe that our EVP represents the core values and priorities of our employees. We will continue to lead ensuring that both current and prospective employees feel heard, valued and represented.
I am enthusiastic and prepared to deliver lasting results at Resources. As I continue my learning journey, I eagerly anticipate the future unfolding in the dynamic realm of HR and leadership.
