2moHi Matt! I love this article. These are ideas I think about every day as part of a large cyber charter school. I agree with your top five, and would add one. Education in 2030 will not be able to rely on standardized tests to measure learner performance. We need to find new ways to asses what students are learning that match these inventive new ways of teaching. Standardized tests are an easy method of assessment and one that is well intentioned, but they aren’t going to be effective in assessing the kind of experiential learning you describe. I think finding new ways to measure what students are learning is one of education’s biggest challenges. I’d love to talk to you more about this topic sometime.
