Torrence Nicholson, MD, Joins Franklin Primary Health Center as a Family Practice Physician

Mobile, Alabama – Franklin Primary Health Center, Inc. (FPHC) proudly welcomes Torrence L. Nicholson, MD, aboard as a new family practice physician. Dr. Nicholson, a seasoned family medicine doctor, brings over a decade of experience, specializing in meeting the basic health needs of children and adults. Dr. Nicholson will begin seeing patients at the Medical Mall Center starting January 22, 2024.

A graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine , Dr. Nicholson completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Alabama Medical Center in Birmingham and holds certification from the American Board of Family Medicine. With a passion for patient-centered care and a commitment to the latest medical advancements, Dr. Nicholson brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to FPHC.

Dr. Nicholson is board certified in Family Medicine and is looking forward to providing comprehensive, compassionate care to both children and adults. He will also be involved with teaching medical residency education.

Dr. Nicholson's extensive career includes roles as Medical Director at HouseCall, LLC in Mobile, Alabama, and Fairbanks Clinic in Fairbanks, Alaska. He also served as a Providence Hospitalist Group Physician at Providence Hospital in Mobile, Alabama.
