train to gain ~ sales growth!

train to gain ~ sales growth!

The old adage “hire on attitude, train the skill” does hold true.

“But” say so many business Owners & Managers “it costs me a fortune & do I really see any gain?”

Sales Training should be an integral part of every business strategy, from biggest to smallest Company.

But it doesn’t have to break the bank – investing more doesn’t mean you get more out in return.

Too often we hoist training of any sort onto our staff & expect them to emerge as these re-born experts - & then blame the training & trainer when no behavioural improvement occurs.

“So what should I do?” I hear you ask.

Identify a particular need, then select the right provider to help you deliver the desired solution.

They should be able to adapt content to suit your situation & language – oh, & pocket too!

BUT, developing your Team is a building process which crucially includes your involvement & commitment if it is to work – for you.

Too often Staff arrive back at work on a Monday after an exhilarating session, to find nothing at the work place has changed & so they soon become disillusioned & fall back into old bad habits.

Following on from any training session, coaching is essential to cement & implement the knowledge gained. And that can only be achieved with Management’s total commitment.

So what is the gain for YOU, the Company ~

a) Improved skills = improved performance = improved results & profit.

 b) Staff feel cared for & in return are more committed to the company.

 c) The workplace becomes a place of positive vibe & direction.

d) Personnel turnover is reduced.

e) Developing people makes them more self-sufficient requiring less supervision.

f) People see a future & a career for themselves.

g) It gives your company a competitive edge over less skilled competitors.

Happy training!
