MTM’s LEAD - Leadership Education and Development Program

Completion of MTM’s LEAD (Leadership Education and Development) program is mandatory and provided to every new or recently hired leader who oversees direct reports, as well as leaders who oversee and influence others in complex projects or tasks at the non-emergency medical transportation services company. The blended learning program introduces learners to "The MTM Way," a list of 25 leadership insights that have been learned along the way, from all levels of MTM. The program includes microlearning modules that are reinforced through a weekly live training session with a dedicated training partner and monthly enrichment activities. MTM also hosts an annual leadership summit where live, more in-depth training is conducted on many of the topics covered in LEAD. Setting the expectations for leaders and providing them the tools they need to be effective contributed to "Feedback" and "Manager" as the highest scoring of MTM’s 17 engagement drivers in second quarter 2023. Having leaders with a strong skillset who provide support to their teams contributed to a 78.89 engagement rate in second quarter 2023, exceeding the company’s goal by more than a point.

Help Us Shape the Future of Virtual Training

Training magazine, in collaboration with Microsoft and Class, invites you to participate in our study of how virtual instructor-led training (VILT) and virtual classrooms are reshaping the future of work and learning. We are looking to better understand how you effectively deliver and measure your virtual training, the audiences you serve, challenges you face with virtual training, best practices you’ve developed, and innovations you’d like to see. Findings from this survey will be published in a white paper in the first quarter of 2025.  To thank you for completing this survey, you will receive an advanced summary of the survey findings and be entered in a drawing to receive a complimentary registration to our 2025 Training Conference & Expo to be held Feb. 17-19 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando.
