Thank you to the many people who reached out to talk about their own transition journey and discuss ways we can collaborate. This phase is both fascinating, filled with hope and possibility and, as is always the case with uncertainty, wrapped in anxiety and a modicum of trepidation.
But this is about walking into the great unknown and breathing; being open to new possibilities; and being confident that things will emerge. They always do! For now, what a wonderful journey. Let's walk, literally (this weather invites that) or metaphorically, through this transition together.

- The Business Case for Purpose. There is so much evidence and data emerging daily on the Case for Purpose (I would argue that it is both a personal and business case) but the data can get overwhelming. Conspiracy of Love has pulled together many key facts in a downloadable 10 page report (link in title for this section). For example, "66% of consumers would switch from a product they typically buy, to a new produce from a purpose-driven company - The Cone/Porter Novelli Survey". "Interestingly, this figure goes up to 91% when Millennials are polled". Other great data comes from Sustainable Brands and Harris Poll; Accenture; Wall Street Journal; Edelman Trust Barometer; Benevity; Deloitte and so much more. Make sure this is filed in an accessible place for those presentations and grant applications. Thanks for recommending this resource

recommended this article so I asked him to indicate why by answering these three questions: (1) why does this business case for purpose interest him? (2) why was this article worth sharing? and (3) given our focus on action - what does he hope people do with this business case? Here is his video response. Let him know what you think?

Great to see you last week Allyson Hewitt and hang out with the Llamas and sheep (Toronto centric reference). I loved your line about “But this is about walking into the great unknown and breathing;and being confident that things will emerge” For me, Luck and timing are always part of these transitions, and working hard to be ready when the time or luck happens, is all part of it. See you soon!
