Goal: Clean the World of all the nuisance treasure and Decarbonise to achieve Net Zero goals profitably.


Change needed: Switch from investing a lot in reporting and advanced reporting using #artificialintelligence to maximising value from the new Strategic reserves.


Reality: With over 3,000 active landfills in the United States, as much as 1,800,000 acres of habitat have been lost. The Hidden Damage of Landfills | Environmental Center | University of Colorado Boulder. Globally, >20 million acres of land is lost to landfills and this waste can be used to produce more renewable energy and many other products.  In the process, we can clear up the landfills profitably too! One billion tires are wasted each year, which is equivalent to ~10 million tonnes per year.

International Aluminium Institute statistics reveal that >60% of Aluminium industry emissions are due to electricity.

World Steel Association (worldsteel) data points reveal that ~75 kgs of hydrogen is required per tonne of steel production. A steel company producing 10 million tonnes of steel will require ~750,000 tonnes of hydrogen - ~300,000 acres of land required for the #solarpower for #fuelcells #electrolysers. For #wastetohydrogen, you need <1/200th of the land required and instead you will release hundreds of thousands of #landfills land.


Chemical Engineering World says that to produce 1 tonne of #monoethyleneglycol, 3 tonnes of #co2emissions are generated. ~100 million tonnes of #monoethyleneglycol is consumed for #pet, #polyesterfibres and many other products. You can remove all of it as well as #landfills.

Did you know that with the 30,000 tonnes per day of #msw generated in #nammabengaluru, Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) can ~1,500MW baseload of #electricity per year and avoid power shutdowns?
